Download your data, or close your business

Spreadsheets

Import & export downloads spreadsheets (CSV files) of your clients, invoices, hours, pay, expenses and reports, for the tools you use. It can also export invoices and payments between two dates for importing into QuickBooks Online; see QuickBooks.

A complete copy

At the bottom of Import & export, select Request my data and enter your password. You get a ZIP file with all your records, settings, team, receipts and task photos. Gallery files aren't included, so keep your own copies of those.

• With up to 25 receipts and task photos, the copy downloads immediately.
• With more, Tendroom prepares it, sometimes as several files, and emails you when it's ready. Download it from Import & export within 7 days.
• Every owner and admin is emailed whenever someone requests a copy.

Close your business

Download your data first. Then the owner goes to Settings → Danger zone → Close this business, selects Close business, enters the business's name and their password, and selects Close the business.

• Your portal, contact page and client links go offline immediately, and everyone is signed out.
• After 30 days, everything is erased: clients, invoices, hours, pay, files, and the logins of people who were only on your team. There's no reminder before then.
• Until then, owners and admins can still download the data from their account on tendroom.com, and Tendroom can reopen the business if you reply to the email sent when you closed it.
