Galleries: share photos and files

How long a gallery lasts

Galleries are for delivering work, not storing it. When you make a gallery, its link can work for up to 7 days. Extend 7 days adds a week at a time (fewer days near the end), up to 30 days after the gallery was made. At 30 days, the gallery is deleted with all its files.

Keep your own copy of everything you upload. Clients with an email address get a reminder before their link ends: 3 days before, unless owners and admins change it under Settings → Automatic emails.

Make a gallery

1. Open Galleries and select New gallery.
2. Enter a Gallery name, choose the client, and choose how long the link works. Add a message for your client if you like.
3. Select Create gallery, then Add photos, or drag your files onto the page.

Any type of file works, including videos and documents. A gallery holds up to 2,000 files and 25 GB, and all your galleries share your plan's storage. If an upload stops, choose the same files again: files already uploaded are skipped.

Share it

1. Select Share (available once the gallery has files).
2. Choose View and download, or Choose favorites.
3. To email the link to your client, leave Email it to selected (shown when the client has an email address). To send it yourself, clear it.
4. Select Create download link (or Create favorites link). If you're sending it yourself, copy the link now: it's shown only once.

Each new link replaces the previous one, and Turn off the link stops it at any time. If the link has ended, extend it before you share again.

To keep a link private even if it's forwarded, select Add a passcode and enter 6 to 32 characters. The passcode isn't shown again, so keep a note of it. You can email it to your client separately from the link.

Let clients choose favorites

Share a Choose favorites link, and your client selects the files they like and sends you their list. To set it up, select Set up favorites on the gallery. You can:

• Make up to 5 lists, and set how many files to choose in each.
• Let clients add notes to photos.
• Set a deadline. Clients with an email address get a reminder two days before.
• Hide downloads while they choose (on by default).

Up to 10 people can choose, each with their own picks. Reopen list lets your client change a list they've sent; it doesn't email them, so let them know. Sharing a View and download link turns choosing off, and picks already made are kept.

How it looks

Galleries use the look set on Brand, in the Gallery page tab. To give one gallery its own look, select Design, choose a cover style, and select Save design. A gallery with its own saved design keeps it when you change your brand.
